Banal places have an inherent eeriness to them. They conjure shapes like spontaneous manifestations or acts of natural graffiti. A passage through a place as part of a visibly repeated process. Or a way to remove the environment from the viewer. A redacted memory. There is a patchwork of hidden properties and dimensions in space here, and an unseen energy leaving trails.
