Shipwreck

This work is a synthesis of ideas about connections between the self and landscape. It is an expanded format painting, an assemblage of fabricated and found objects. Put together they form the image of a broken ship baking in the end-of-the-world sun. It is a symbolic and symbiotic link between the environment and the personal; a limbo constructed from remnants and residue.
